Graphite One (GPH.V) has engaged JDS Energy and mining to complete a first scoping study on GPH’s fully owned Graphite Creek property in Alaska, USA. This scoping study will give a first indication about the viability of the project and will be included in the company’s PEA.

The company also announced that the state of Alaska jumped six places on the Fraser’s Institute list which compiles a list of 96 mining jurisdictions. Alaska is now ranked 19th vs the 25th place last year, which obviously further increases the confidence in the region.

We are looking forward to the results of the scoping study and are quite excited about Graphite One’s prospects as not only do they have the largest graphite project, they are situated on the west coast of the Americas, which dramatically shortens the shipping distance to the Asian end consumers compared to the graphite companies in Québec.
