Integra Gold (ICG.V) announced a 20,000 meter drill program has started at the company’s Lamaque Gold Project in Québec. Drilling is focusing at zones around the past-producing No. 3 mine where Teck Resources mined two veins, producing 33,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 7.55g/t.

This year’s drill program at the No. 3 mine will consist of 5,000 meters of drilling in 12 holes and will focus on extending the currently known veins laterally and at depth. This 5,000 meter drill program can be increased should the first drill results warrant this.

Subsequently, the company closed a $2.9M private placement and expects to raise an additional $250,000 shortly.
