Nevada Copper (NCU.TO) has announced it received the Nevada Air Quality Permit, which was the last needed permit to be allowed to start production from the underground mine at its 100% owned Pumpkin Hollow project in Nevada, USA.
As Nevada Copper is now fully permitted for the Phase I underground mine, Red Kite has released another tranche of $15M, as per the financing agreement. Another $149M will be made available upon reaching milestones such as completing the shaft.
The company is finalizing the feasibility study for the Phase II open pit operations at Pumpkin Hollow, and the results of this feasibility study are expected in the first week of October.
