Arc Exploration (ASX:ARX) has announced the results of a historical drill hole which was drilled at the end of 2012 by New South Resources. The drill hole intersected 22.5 meters containing 8.75g/t gold. The true width is estimated at 12-15 meters. As this is isn’t the first time high-grade gold is being intersected at the Dobroyde prospect, Managing Director Jeff Malaihollo hopes to find more high-grade gold zones on other parts of the project.

The New South Resources intercept wasn’t used in the previous resource estimate which contained 77koz of gold, and if Arc Exploration is able to find some more intercepts like this one, the amount of ounces and the average grade will obviously increase.
