Pure Gold Mining (PGM.V) which was previously called Laurentian Goldfields has acquired and consolidated the ownership of the 12 km long Madsen trend in Ontario’s Red Lake mine district. We met with CEO Darin Labrenz in Vancouver last month and he is very hopeful the company will be able to detect more high-grade zones on the Madsen project which hasn’t seen a lot of modern exploration techniques being applied over the past few decades.

As the Red Lake district is famous for its large high-grade mines, we are looking forward to a Phase One exploration program on the newly consolidated land package, which is the third largest land position in the entire Red Lake mining district.
