Blackheath Resources (BHR.V) has announced it started a Phase 3 drill program at its Covas tungsten project in Portugal. The program will consist of 15 very shallow holes (on average just 75 meters each) and is designed to expand the currently known mineralized zones.
The first phase of the 15-hole program will be focused on the eastern zone of the Covas project where previous exploration programs have outlined soem targets which seem to be very prospective for high-grade tungsten mineralization.
This will be a busy summer for Blackheath Resources as we’re also anxiously awaiting the results from the three remaining holes on the Borralha project after the first hole revealed a long continuous mineralized zone at an average grade of 0.18% WO3.
