Canamex Resources (CSQ.V) has announced more drill results from its Bruner Gold project in Nevada, USA. Of interest is RC hole 1414 which was aimed to confirm the historically known gold mineralization and the company was successful in its attempts as it intersected 114 meters of 0.87g/t gold including a higher grade interval of 47 meters at 1.5g/t. A second hole which was drilled close to the first hole was a bit less exciting as the intervals were shorter and the grade was lower than what hole 1414 revealed.
As hole 1416 and 1417 have roughly the same type of results, Canamex thinks its interpretation of a high grade gold zone surrounded by a lower grade halo which hasn’t been tested by historic drilling as the historic drill zones seem to have missed the shallow mineralized zone.
