Clean TeQ Holdings (ASX:CLQ) has reported its first ever resource estimate on the Syerston scandium project which is located in Australia. Using a cutoff grade of 300 ppm, the total resources at Syerston contain 10,500 tonnes of scandium in just over 25 million tonnes of rock at an average grade of 414 ppm.

According to the company, this puts the project in a pole position to be a low-cost producer and long-term supplier of Scandium. Clean Teq aims to re-start drilling in the second quarter of this year to both expand the resources at Syerston as well as increasing the average grade of the mineralization. However, the current resource estimate will already be used to complete a scoping study at Syerston, and we’re looking forward to the possible development scenarios.
