Edgewater Exploration (EDW.V) has released a statement wherein it clarifies the permitting issues it has experienced on its Corcoesto Gold project in Galicia, Spain.

According to the company, the environmental impact assessment will remain in good standing for approximately four more years, and the company will be able to re-apply for mining permits once it is able to meet the requirements from the government as the mining concessions will remain in good standing for another 50 years.

However, the company is currently going through a process of cutting costs and ‘rationalizing all project expenditures including the feasibility study’.
