Global Metals Exploration (ASX:GXN) has announced the results of the S249D meeting which was held earlier this week. There were 355M votes in favor of the appointment of Robert Brian Thomas and Robert John Benussi as director of Global Metals, but as 528M shares voted against their appointment, both nominees were not elected to the board of directors. Subsequently resolution 3 and 4 which called for the removal of Lia Darby and Ashley Hood were withdrawn.
The company has also announced the completion of the entitlement offer, whereby they raised A$70,000 from existing shareholders, and the remaining 450M shares were taken up as shortfall.
