Inca One Resources (IO.V) has announced it has hired a new VP Development & Operations and a new CFO.
Jamie Polar was appointed as the new Vice President and looking at Polar’s background, it’s remarkable a small company like Inca One was able to attract someone with his qualities. Jamie Polar was operations general manager for Barrick Gold’s (ABX.TO, NYSE:ABX) Pierina mine in Peru, which produced almost 100,000 ounces of gold last year. Before his tenure at the Pierina Mine, he oversaw the expansion at the Lagunas Norte mine which is also owned by Barrick Gold and produced in excess of 600,000 ounces of gold last year. As Polar has a lot of experience in the mining sector, and more importantly, in the Peruvian mining sector, we think this is an excellent addition to the current team.
