Metanor Resources (MTO.V) has released another batch of drill results from its ongoing exploration program at the Bachelor Lake gold mine and the nearby mineralized zones. The assays results which were released earlier today contained the ‘typical’ intercepts such as 1.5 meters of 8.68 g/t and 2.8 meters of almost 8 g/t gold, but there was one hole that was standing out from the crowd.
Drill hole 6-147 which was drilled at the 8-H-14 zone intersected a stunning 11.85 meters containing 11.9 g/t gold, and that’s longer than expected ànd has a higher grade than what we would have expected. This result indicates an indicative 141 gram-meters intercept which is something we can’t recall having seen at Bachelor Lake before. Even if the true width would be just half of the reported width, this would still be a stellar result.
We have been told there are more drill results underway and we can only applaud the increased level of transparency of Metanor. The current drill program will be important to identify additional resources to ensure the Bachelor Lake mill can continue to operate at full capacity.
