Metanor Resources (MTO.V) has announced an employee has sustained fatal injuries whilst he was working on a haulage truck in the company’s maintenance shop. This is a very sad event and once again emphasizes the importance of trying to create a safe work environment.
There was also some more positive news as Metanor released some more drill results late last week. A drill station at level 6 has intersected the main gold vein inbetween the levels 6 and 8, and the intercepts were actually pretty long with 7.2 meters of 10.4 g/t and 13 meters of 10.2 g/t. Both the grade and width seem to be very interesting and encouraging as these drill results seem to indicate the vein extends to well below level 8. Some follow-up drill holes are currently being designed to test the continuity of the vein at depth (towards levels 10 and 12).
