Nevada Copper (NCU.TO) is getting ready to tick some boxes over the next few weeks, as the company expects to receive both the water pollution and air pollution permits any day now which will allow the company to move forward with the planned underground production at the eastern side of the Pumpkin Hollow project.
The company also expects to release the feasibility study on the open pit scenario shortly. Nevada Copper will start from the 2012 base case scenario which calls for a 60,000 tpd mill throughput but will also investigate the possibility to increase the throughput up to 90,000 tpd. The company also hopes the land bill will be approved in September as well, which would allow NCU to further advance the open pit development.
