NGEx Resources (NGQ.TO) has announced new drill results from ten more holes at its Filo del Sol copper-gold-silver project in Argentina’s San Juan province. Of interest is hole 970 which intersected 22 meters of an astonishing 5.8% copper after intersecting 6 meters of in excess of 12 g/t gold. In other holes the company encountered 20 meters of 2.11% copper and 12 meters of 907g/t silver. All ten holes ended in porphyry mineralization.

Filo del Sol is an interesting project as overlapping mineralizing events have actually created different styles of mineralization at the project and that’s why there are huge differences in the grade of gold, silver and copper throughout the entire project area.
