Dalradian Resources (DNA.TO) has received notice from the Strategic Planning Division of the Northern Ireland Department of Environment it doesn’t need an environmental permit to start the next phase of exploration at the company’s 100%-owned Curraghinalt gold project.

According to Patrick Anderson, Dalradian’s CEO, this is a sign of the extremely ‘supportive attitude of the Northern Irish government’, as the construction and exploitation activities will provide hundreds of direct and indirect jobs for the region.

The company’s exploration team is currently re-assessing historical core, to determine if the C-veins have additional potential in terms of width, which might in turn reduce the mining dilution and increase the economics of the project. The outcome of the re-assessement will be included in Dalradian’s updated NI43-compliant resource estimate.
