Inca One Gold (IO.V) has announced it produced 1,665 ounces of gold and 1,119 ounces of silver in the 6 weeks since the previous production report. The 1,665 ounces is approximately 50% higher than the gold production in the previous six weeks. As the company processed 2,303 tonnes of ore, the average grade per tonne was approximately 0.72 ounces per tonne. This is slightly below the targeted grade of 0.8 ounces per tonne, but that’s not surprising as Inca One is still ramping up its production rate.
That’s also the reason why the average throughput rate was ‘just’ 50 tonnes per day. Inca One’s team is working hard to source more ore and will continue to gradually increase the throughput of the plant towards 100 tonnes per day as the ore deliveries continue to increase. Inca One will ‘stress-test’ its plant at 100 tonnes per day later this month so we are expecting some good production results in the next few weeks.
