Cancana Resources (CNY.V) and Ferrometals, its joint venture partner on the BMC project in Brazil, has announced it received an order for an additional 4,500 tonnes of high-grade manganese. This order comes on top of the previously announced order of 7,500 tonnes, whicih means the Brazil Manganese Corporation joint venture now has firm commitments to sell 12,000 tonnes of high-grade manganese, and we’re not even halfway the second quarter yet!
This seems to indicate the production process is going well and as it has been a while since Cancana has provided the market with a substantial update, we hope to see something in the very near future.
