Evrim Resources (EVM.V) has released additional exploration results from its Cerro Cascaron gold project in Mexico’s Chihuahua state. Even though this is an early stage exploration project, Evrim seems to be quite upbeat about its prospects as it claims the Cerro Cascaron project contains one of the few untested targets on the Sierra Madre trend, where Goldcorp’s El Sauzal mine (now closed) is located.
The most recent exploration program has now confirmed the existence of gold-silver mineralization over a 10 square kilometer area, whereon it has identified no less than 14 gold-silver systems with a cumulative strike length of in excess of 3,000 meters, with most structures still being open along strike.
