Torian Resources (ASX:TNR) has announced the results of its preliminary metallurgical test work on its Mt Stirling project, which is located less than 50 kilometers from Leonora in Western Australia. The company used ore from 20 Reverse Circulation holes that were drilled on the property.
The metallurgical results are actually pretty impressive as the overall recovery rates are indicating in excess of 98% of the gold could be recovered, and this seems to be a very important vote of confidence. After seeing these metallurgical results, Torian decided to immediately complete a 5,000 meter infill drill program at Mt Stirling to increase the confidence in the geological model of the deposit.
