Roscan Gold (ROS.V) has appointed Samuel Jonah as non-executive chairman of the board which now also includes Michael Gentile (who has been upgraded from his previous role as Strategic Advisor). Don Whalen and David Mosher have resigned from Roscan’s board to make room for the new people.
Jonah appears to be a quality injection into the Roscan board as he has plenty of experience in the African gold sector after a 40 year long career in the sector. As ex-CEO of Ashanti (before it merged with AngloGold) he appears to know what he is doing and could clearly help Roscan Gold forward. And to be fair, the company could perhaps have done a better job introducing Jonah than just copy-pasting the Wikipedia page of Samuel Jonah.
Meanwhile, the 2020 exploration program at Kandiole has started and we are looking forward to seeing the assay results of the planned 10,000 meter drill program on the Southern Discovery Target. Additionally, Roscan will continue to focus on the regional targets as well where it will finetune and advance an additional seven exploration targets on its tenements. It looks like Mankouke South and Central will also be subject to a drilling campaign but Roscan is still awaiting the interpretation of the results of the ground IP survey before going too aggressive on that zone (and adding a second drill rig). As Roscan is now fully cashed up, all eyes will be on the exploration program.
