Equity Metals (EQTY.V) has released the assay results from two additional holes drilled on the flagship Silver Queen project in British Columbia. Both holes SQ23-079 and SQ23-080 were drilled to test the western extension of the known Camp Vein and successfully intersected mineralization in the hangingwall of the vein system.
Holes 79 and 80 were drilled into one of the more southerly veins within the system and according to the company, they represent a 270 meter down-dip and 140 meter lateral step out from previous drilling. Hole 80 is particularly interesting because it is the deepest bonanza-grade silver result intersected in the Camp/Sveinson system to date.
And indeed. Hole 80 returned 0.8 meters (true width) containing almost 2,000 g/t silver and 0.3% ZnPb within a thicker interval of 1.7 meters which includes 926 g/t silver (this also means the remaining 0.9 meters aren’t carrying too much weight and the 1.7 meter interval is predominantly carried by the very high-grade interval).
Hole 79 encountered 0.5 meters (again, true width) including 490 g/t silver, 3.6% ZnPb and some gold as well (although 0.2 g/t gold is not exactly a shocking result, every recoverable metal matters and will be helpful towards boosting the rock value.
These are the results of the first two holes of a nine hole drill campaign on the Camp/Sveinson target where a total of just over 4,000 meters have been drilled. The assay results from the remaining seven holes should be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
