Giyani Metals (EMM.V) announced last month it has been granted a mining license for its flagship K.Hill manganese project. The mining license was awarded less than nine months after filing the application, is valid for the next 15 years and can be renewed for 25 year blocks.

The company will commission a demo plant later this quarter and the output from that plant will be used to negotiate and sign offtake agreements. The data from the demo plant will also be used in the definitive feasibility study which should be completed in 2025. That feasibility study will use an updated resource calculation and should determine the viability of the project.
