Before the Christmas Break, Newcore Gold (NCAU.V) announced the results of seven additional column tests it completed at its Enchi flagship project. Five composite samples were taken from the Sewum deposit while an additional two samples were compiled from the Boin deposit. The average recovery rates ranged from 82.6% to 97.2% with an average of 93%. This provides another important piece of the puzzle for Newcore as certain areas of the Boin and Sewum deposits weren’t subject to any column leach tests in the past.

Newcore will also complete an additional drill program which will consist of approximately 10,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling aiming to both increase and improve the current resource estimate on the project. As a reminder, the project contains 744,000 ounces of gold in the indicated resource category and an additional 972,000 ounces in the inferred category.
