Amex Exploration (AMX.V) had an early Christmas present for its shareholders as earlier this month, the company released the assay results from the fire assays performed on the diamond drill holes completed on the Team Zone. As a reminder, the Team Zone is located approximately 600 meters to the northeast of the High Grade Zone and about 300 meters northeast of the E2 Gold Zone. A total of 23 holes have been drilled on this zone, and 17 of these holes encountered visible gold.
Amex Exploration publishes its detailed drill results on its website and even in its press release the table containing the assay results is pretty extensive and too long to just copy paste here, but you can find the detailed assay results HERE.
Some of the results are pretty impressive: 1.4 meters of 68.66 g/t gold in hole PE-22-545, 14.5 meters of 6.75 g/t gold in PE-22-548 and in hole PE-22-554 the large mineralized area of 163.5 meters containing 1.08 g/t gold is carried by numerous high-grade intervals like 3 meters of 11.17 g/t old and even 0.80 meters at 30.86 g/t gold.
The recent drill results have now confirmed the gold-bearing mineralization over a surface area of approximately 300 meters by 150 meters and the gold has been chased up to a depth of approximately 380 meters. Keep in mind the Team Zone is very new and although it highlights the exploration potential of the entire district, the upcoming maiden resource estimate will be focusing on the HGZ, Denise and perhaps Gratien as a high-grade starter pit.
