As mentioned before, we were (and still are) expecting a steady news flow from Bonterra Resources (BTR.V) as it’s advancing its 70,000 meter drill program at the Gladiator gold deposit in Québec. The past few holes didn’t contain anything unusual as they confirmed the continuity and consistency of the gold veins, but in hole 9, Bonterra appears to have discovered a sixth parallel gold zone as it intersected 2.6 meters containing 11.8 g/t gold starting 764 meters down-hole after intersecting three other veins in the process.
Other noticeable drill results from the 4 most recent holes (it looks like Bonterra has been releasing drill results in batches of 4) are 2.2 meters at 16.5 g/t gold, 2 meters at 8.5 g/t, 3.4 meters at 16.3 g/t gold and 2.4 meters containing 10.1 g/t of the precious metal. Good results, that’s for sure, and the updated resource estimate could already contain a respectable amount of gold in the measured and indicated categories.
