Bonterra Resources (BTR.V) is now continuously publishing new assay results from the drill holes completed during the winter drill program, and it looks like all new holes are confirming the continuity of the gold-bearing veins at Gladiator. As Bonterra is gearing up to complete a resource update, it’s encouraging to see it continues to intercept the veins where they are expected to show up.
The assay results of four new holes (5-8) have now been released and the assay results appear to be in line with the expectations as hole 5 intersected 3.1 meters of 9.3 g/t gold, 1.3 meters of 6.9 g/t gold whilst holes 6 and 7 encountered respectively 2.5 meters containing 6.1 g/t gold and 1.3 meters of 8.8 g/t gold. More than the ‘pure’ gold values, holes 7 and 8 appear to be very interesting for Bonterra’s plans to increase the resources at Gladiator as both holes are drilled further towards the west and with hole 8 finding 3 meters containing in excess of half an ounce of gold per tonne of rock, stepping out towards the west appears to be a very good move as hole 8 was drilled in an area where very little drilling had been completed before.
As Bonterra continues its drill program at Gladiator with no less than 7 drill rigs, we think it’s fair to assume we will see new assay results on a weekly basis.
