Callinex Mines (CNX.V) has announced it has added James Pickell to the company’s technical team. That’s quite a positive update as Pickell is widely seen as one of the world’s most renowned experts on VMS systems.
What’s even more important is the fact Pickell doesn’t just have experience in the Flin Flon region, but he actually discovered the 777 mine which is currently operated by HudBay Minerals (HBM). Additionally, he was also involved in exploration programs at the Sourdough and Pine Bay zones which are currently part of Callinex’ land package.
This appointment once again emphasizes Callinex’ largest shareholder is only backing companies with the right management teams in place and this additional strengthens Callinex’ case.
