CanAlaska Uranium (CVV.V) continues to hit high-grade mineralization at the Pike Zone on its West McArthur joint venture project, where it already own an 83.35% stake.

Drill hole WMA082-8 intersected 16.9 meters of 6.87% U3O8 (using the radiometric equivalent calculation) starting at a depth of 823 meters including an even higher grade interval of 9.3 meters containing 11.62% U3O8 and that is pretty consistent with previously released high-grade drill results which included 9.6 meters of 14.9% U3O8 and 14.5 meters containing 9.9% U3O8. Hole 8 was just the second hole of this year’s summer drill campaign and was the first step-out hole towards the east.

The summer drill program is ongoing and will continue to focus on defining and delineating the Pike Zone a the unconformity zone and within the upper basement.
