In a very brief update, Comstock Metals (CSL.V) has announced it has now completed the summer exploration program on the Preview SW gold project, located in Canada’s Saskatchewan province.
The company has completed 11 diamond drill holes for a total of just over 2,100 meters. Of the 11 holes, seven were drilled on the Preview North zone whilst the remaining four holes were focusing on the southern end of the Preview SW deposit which currently hosts a resource estimate of 429,100 ounces of gold. It will take a few weeks for the company to receive the assay results from the lab, but we expect to see some news on this in September.
Comstock’s activities included more than just the diamond drill program, as the company has now also completed other exploration activities including ground magnetics and structural studies.
