Metanor Resources (MTO.V) has released another batch of drill results from its ongoing exploration program at the Barry project in Québec, Canada. The company reported back on the assay results of an additional 1,370 meters of drilling, and it definitely does look like Metanor is increasing the value of Barry as it has now successfully confirmed the mineralized zones can be extended and hole 11 and 14 do confirm the continuity towards the north-east.
Hole 11 intersected an impressive 60 meters containing 2.3 g/t gold starting from a depth of just 18 meters, and it does look like the intercept is pretty consistent with 14 meters at 2.6 g/t, 18 meters of 4.6 g/t and 12 meters containing 1.6 g/t. Hole 14 was drilled further away to the northeast, and intercepted 40 meters of 2.1 g/t including 8 meters of 5.4 g/t, and that’s perhaps the most important takeaway from the press release, as it opens the system towards the northeast at a higher grade than the average grade in the Barry resource estimate.
