Faraday Copper (FDY.TO) has released the assay results of two holes it drilled on the Copper Creek project as part of its Phase III drill program. Hole FCD-24-080 intersected almost 118 meters (83 meters true width) containing 1.01% copper and 1.87 g/t silver starting at approximately 323.5 meters downhole, within a thicker 270 meter interval (190 meter TW) with an average grade of 0.64% copper and 1.32 g/t silver. There also is a narrower but higher grade interval with 15.89 meters (11 meters TW) containing 2.15% copper and 2.48 g/t silver. According to CEO Harbidge, this is the discovery hole for the high-grade Banjo breccia and confirms there is exploration potential above the existing underground resource.
Hole FCD-24-071 was drilled into the American Eagle breccia and encountered almost 16 meters (12 meters true width) of 0.93% copper and 3.71 g/t silver within a wider interval of 88.16 meter (68 meters true width) containing 0.39% copper and 1.43 g/t silver. Starting at a depth of just over 188 meters downhole, this hole confirms the vertical continuity of the breccia to the porphyry mineralization at depth and also confirms the prospectivity to find copper mineralization above the currently known underground resource.
The company continues to drill and this should result in further increasing the existing resource estimate on the project.
