Hecla Mining (HL) has started an airborne geophysical survey over its Kinskuch property which almost completely surrounds the Kinskuch land package owned by OK2 Minerals (OK.V). OK2 has signed a cost-sharing agreement with Hecla, which means the airborne survey will also be flown over OK2’s land position as this will allow both companies to share the mobilization fees associated with the helicopter survey.
We recently gave OK2’s Pyramid property – where a drill program is ongoing – a lot of attention, but its Kinskuch property is probably as exciting given the previous drill results where holes ended in copper-gold mineralization. The current airborne survey will allow OK2 to identify more porphyry targets, as well as VMS targets on the 5,000 hectare property.
