Inca One Resources (IO.V) has announced they received the long-awaited approval of the Environmental Impact Statement on the Las Huaquillas project they submitted last year.
This is excellent news as the company is now allowed to conduct further exploration and actually drill at Las Huaquillas which has a historical resource estimate of in excess of 440,000 ounces of gold and 5.3 million ounces of silver at an average grade of 2.09g/t Au and 25.2g/t Ag. With this approved EIS in hand, Inca One will have a much stronger position if an interested third party would come knock on their door.
Meanwhile at the company’s near-term production Corizona asset, things are progressing nicely and we are expecting a press release about the first ore truck leaving the mine before the end of this month. First revenues are expected before the end of July.
