Integra Gold (ICG.V) has announced it added a fourth drill rig from Orbit Garant Drilling (OGD.TO) to its Lamaque project in Val D’Or, Québec. This rig will exclusively work on cementing and sealing the previous drill holes, which is necessary in order to be ready to start underground exploration as early as 2015. This cementation process of drill holes is absolutely necessary to prevent water from draining into underground structures.
No less than 218 holes totaling 85,300 meters have been identified to be cemented and cased, and as all parts of the property are accessible in the winter season, Integra Gold takes advantage of this to immediately start the cementing program in order to be ready in a timely fashion.
