Integra Resources (ITR.V, ITRG) has appointed Dale Kerner as its new Vice President of Permitting. Kerner is based in Boise, Idaho and has almost three decades of experience in environmental permitting and compliance in the USA. As his most recent job was at Perpetua Resources which recently obtained the Record of Decision from the US Forest Service, he seems to be the right person to help Integra’s permitting efforts to become the next permitted precious metals mine in Idaho.
This is only one of the additions Integra is eyeing to complete its team this year. The search for a COO is ongoing, and the company remains committed to appoint the new COO later this quarter.
Integra also provided an update on its hedging program. A total of 56,500 ounces of gold have now been covered by purchasing put options with a strike price of $2,400/oz which means about 80% of the expected full-year production at Florida Canyon has now been hedged.
