Integra Resources (ITR.V, ITRG) released a fresh batch of drill results last week, and the assay results of seven holes were released to the market. All seven holes were drilled on the War Eagle zone which is located within walking distance from both the DeLamar and Florida Mountain Zone. The 2020 drill program was following up on the high-grade gold and silver results encountered in 2019, and after an extensive soil Geochem program conducted in 2019 and 2020, Integra’ punched a few holes in what it believed to be the mineralized structure. And with success, as the high-grade mineralization has now been chased for over 500 meters in a south-southeast direction.
Rather than providing investors with a wall of text, Integra has published an 8 minute Youtube video wherein CEO George Salamis discusses the assay results, and the impact on the bigger picture at the Greater DeLamar project area. The video can be watched in its entirety HERE and in our opinion is a ‘must watch’ for anyone interested in Integra Resources. The explanation of Salamis about finding sizeable shoots along the trend is very intriguing, as is the comment about chasing the high-grade vein structures at depth.
And the potential to encounter more high-grade mineralization at War Eagle is quite obvious. Not only is drilling deeper an obvious way to try to add tonnes (and value) to the currently known shoots, the 2021 drill program will also focus on lateral expansion as the technical team seems to be expecting to find more mineralized pods.
