Loncor Gold (LN.V) has released the assay results from nine holes that were drilled on three specific exploration targets on the Imbo project. Six of the holes contained interesting gold mineralization with some very high grade intervals on the Museveni exploration target with for instance 1.18 meters containing in excess of 2 ounces of gold per tonne while another hole encountered 1.58 meters of 12.26 g/t gold. The true width of all assays shown in the table below is estimated between 41.52% and 75.31%.
The majority of the attention goes towards hole LIDD008 which was drilled on the Mungo Iko prospect where the drill bit intersected three distinct intervals of decent grade gold mineralization with for instance 5.05 meters of 5.28 g/t gold, 4.10 meters of 2.18 g/t gold and 6.3 meters of 5.53 g/t gold between 122 meters and 180 meters down hole. It goes without saying hole LIDD008 is the best hole of the nine that were released.
Loncor Gold recently presented at the Metals Investor Forum in Vancouver. Although the keynote speech was pretty short (companies were allocated just ten minutes), the presentation by CEO John Barker is a useful refresher. You can watch the presentation HERE.
