Metanor Resources (MTO.V) is still working on its underground drill program at the Bachelor Lake gold mine in Québec, and the company has released a new batch of drill results from mineralized zones below level 14.
The drill bit continued to intersect the main vein below the 14 level below the current ore body whilst an additional three holes that were drilled west of a fault line also intersected the main vein which could open up that zone for resource expansion. The company has now also increased its production guidance for the current financial year to 30,000-36,000 ounces of gold, after reporting a total gold production of in excess of 18,000 ounces in the first half of the year.
