Otis Gold (OOO.V) has released a few more drill results from a new exploration program at its Kilgore gold project in Idaho. The lab has released the assays from a part of the fall drill program, and we think the company will be quite pleased with the results, as the drill bit intersected several thicker intercepts which might indicate a bulk-tonnage mining operation could work.
Indeed, 56 meters of 2.05 g/t and 94.5 meters at 4.21 g/t gold are pretty impressive results and it’s specifically interesting to note these holes actually ended in mineralization. This could indicate Otis Gold will want to follow up with a new drill program, as this fall drill program consisted of less than 3,300 meters of drilling. The Otis geologists are currently planning a drill campaign to follow up on these excellent drill results, as these higher grade zones might result in a much better value proposal at Kilgore as the current average grade is just 0.59 g/t in the indicated resource and 0.46 g/t in the inferred resource estimate.
