Q2 Metals (QTWO.V) recently released the assay results of seven holes it completed on its Cisco lithium project in Quebec’s James Bay region. Some of the holes encountered some very impressive numbers with CS24-018 definitely drawing attention with 215.6 meters of 1.69% Li2O including an interval of almost 65 meters containing 2.29% Li2O. The two other holes that were highlighted also encountered very decent intervals at an average grade of almost 1.20% Li2O.

Other holes were not as impressive but do fit in the greater scheme of things. As the table below shows, hole 12 intersected several distinct zones of mineralization with three layers of 7-11 meters encountering grades between 1.28% and 1.65% Li2O within the first 80 meters.

The results for hole CS24-017 are still pending but given the location of that hole, to the northwest of hole 18 and towards the southeast of hole 13, it would be a surprise if hole 17 didn’t indicate the presence of the same layer of lithium-bearing rock.

The assay results the company has already published represent just over 2,300 meters of drilling of the total drill program which consisted of almost 6,400 meters of drilling in 13 holes. The assay results of the remaining six holes are pending and will undoubtedly released soon.
