Revett Minerals (RVM.TO, NYSEMKT:RVM) has released an update on its efforts to get the Troy mine up and running again.
The company completed the D-Drive into the lower quartzite ore zone and a first inspection of the first 130 meters into the lower quartzite zone revealed no structural damage, which is obviously excellent news. Revett will now continue to dewater the Troy mine in order to inspect the entire haulage route and the lower quartzite zone. If no structural damage is encountered, the Troy Mine could start its operations again before year’s end with full production anticipated in Q1 2014.
