Although the company obviously still has to publish its financial results, Torex Gold (TXG.TO) has already provided a production update. The company produced just under 114,000 ounces of gold thanks to its average daily plant throughput of just over 13,200 tonnes per day processing rock at an average grade of 3.34 g/t gold.

This brings the total gold production in the first half of the year to almost 230,000 ounces of gold, and this puts the company on track to achieve its full-year production guidance. As a reminder, Torex Gold plans to produce 400-450,000 ounces of gold at an AISC of $1100-1160 per ounce. The AISC exceeded $1220/oz in the first quarter which indicates the average all-in sustaining cost should be trending down in the next few quarters to meet even the higher end of the full-year guidance.
