Tyranna Resources (TYX.AX) has now completed a shallow hole drill program on its 72% owned Namibe lithium project in Angola. The drill program consisted of 11 holes for a total of 817 meters of diamond core drilling. Some of the samples will be used for metallurgical test work further down the road.

The Muvero lithium project consists of 207 square kilometers on which 600 pegmatites have been discovered since the 1960s. Despite the known pegmatite occurrences, the project has never been drilled before Tyranna completed 61 drill holes (the 11 diamond drill holes followed up on a 50 hole RC drill program earlier this year). The RC drill program encountered higher grade lithium mineralization with intervals like 22.75 meters of 2.02% LiO2  including 7 meters of 3.06% Li2O.
