Generation Mining (GENM.TO) has signed an agreement in principle for the Marathon PGM project with the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg, the First Nations tribe on whose land the Marathon PGM project is located. The agreement in principle indicates the first nations group is supportive of the project, and hopefully Generation Mining can indeed deliver all the benefits to the community it’s eyeing.
Having the support of the first nations is an important step forward for the project and the company as it had to make sure to create a win-win situation for every stakeholder.
